DAMASCUS — The new Syrian Administration's Minister of Health Dr. Maher Al-Sharaa met with a team from the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) in Damascus on Sunday. During the meeting, both sides discussed ways to contribute to addressing the needs of the Syrian healthcare sector. The Syrian minister expressed his gratitude to the government of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman and Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman as well as to KSrelief for their ongoing support to the Syrian people in alleviating the impact of the current hardships they are facing. Syria's Minister of Social Affairs and Labor Fadi Al-Qassem also met with the KSrelief team in Damascus. Abdullah bin Saleh Al-Harees, Chargé d'Affaires of the Saudi Embassy in Syria, attended the meeting. The Saudi and Syrian officials discussed means of delivering relief aid to the Syrian people and coordination regarding the KSrelief's collaboration with civil society organizations in the country. Al-Qassem commended the generous support provided by Saudi Arabia through KSrelief in various areas and praised the Kingdom's prompt response to improve the humanitarian situation in Syria. Meanwhile, 60 Saudi relief trucks crossed the Nasib Border Crossing into Syria on Monday as part of the Saudi humanitarian land bridge operated by KSrelief. The trucks are carrying essential supplies, including food, shelter, and medical aid, to succor the Syrian people in their time of need. Six Saudi relief planes, loaded with food, medical, and shelter supplies, have already arrived at Damascus International Airport as part of the Kingdom's ongoing efforts to support friendly nations in times of crisis
