The total estimated allocations for the program of Human Resources Development Fund to recruit skilled and no-skilled people for this year amounted to SR1,695,438,000 according to agreements signed with the beneficiary enterprises during the period of training and employment. The fund's annual report for the year 1427-1428 (Hijra) showed that the support for training program and recruitment of skilled people amounted to SR769,963,000 creating 20,294 training and employment opportunities as well as a sum of SR925,475,000 for training and employment programs for unskilled people. The report stated that the fund has continued this year in building bridges of fruitful cooperation with several parties through agreements on Saudization of jobs and joint training programs by supporting 53,401 job opportunities in the private sector, an increase of 33 percent over its targeted plan of 40,000 opportunities in 2007.
