Makkah deputy emir announces success of Hajj Preparations for next Hajj will commence soon

MINA — Deputy Emir of the Makkah and Deputy Chairman of the Central Hajj Committee Prince Saud bin Mishal announced on Tuesday the success of this year's Hajj. " I am pleased to announce the success of this year's Hajj season and I extend my praise to God for enabling us to carry out our highest mission towards the guests of God and honoring us by serving them and facilitating the performance of the obligatory ritual in a safe and peaceful atmosphere. Praise be to God for the completion of Hajj and thanks to Him for what He has bestowed on the guests of the God in performing the rituals in ease, comfort and tranquility," he said in a statement at the emirate's office in Mina.
The deputy emir stated that the arrangements and planning for next year's Hajj season will commence immediately. "The successes achieved at all levels are only the beginning of a new phase to achieve greater gains, in serving the pilgrims. God willing, work will begin immediately to arrange and plan for next year's Hajj season. We will continue to develop the entire Hajj system, as our ambitions have no ceiling and our hopes are limitless," he said.
Prince Saud attributed the success of this year's Hajj to the grace of God, and then to the great care and utmost keenness showed by the Saudi leadership together with the team work and efforts carried out by various parties concerned with Hajj. The deputy emir congratulated Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman and Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman for their constant supervision, continuous guidance, and follow-up of the services provided to the pilgrims. "I also extend my sincere thanks to Minister of the Interior and Chairman of the Supreme Hajj Committee Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Naif for his support, follow-up and approval of the security plans for Hajj, which had a great impact on achieving this success," he said.
Prince Saudi thanked Prince Khaled Al-Faisal, emir of Makkah, advisor to Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and chairman of the Central Hajj Committee, for following up on all works related to Hajj. He also thanked the guests of God and all those who are working during this year's Hajj season, saying: "My brothers, guests of God: Thank you. You have been the best help to our success, and your commitment has contributed to enabling us to serve you to the fullest."
Addressing the officials of various ministries and agencies participated in the Hajj operation, Prince Saud said: "Thanks to my colleagues from various governmental and private sectors. You have had a great deal of responsibility, and I especially thank the security men, male and female volunteers, who demonstrated in front of the whole world an honorable image of the people of this country," he added.
