RIYADH — Within the directives of Crown Prince and Prime Minister Prince Mohammed bin Salman, Saudi Arabia's Defense Minister Prince Khalid bin Salman received Rashad Al-Alimi, chairman of the Yemeni Presidential Leadership Council (PLC) in Riyadh. During the meeting, Prince Khalid conveyed the greetings of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman and the Crown Prince to Al-Alimi and the members of the Yemeni PLC, as well as their wishes for Yemen and its people for security, stability and development. In turn, the PLC chairman conveyed his greetings to Saudi Arabia's leadership. Prince Khalid and Al-Alimi reviewed the latest developments i n the Yemeni issue and the efforts made in this regard, in addition to ways of enhancing support them to ensure the restoration of the peace path. Furthermore, the two sides discussed cooperation and coordination regarding the road map between the Yemeni parties to reach a comprehensive political solution to end the conflict under the supervision of the United Nations. A number of topics with common interest were also discussed during the meeting. The Saudi minister confirmed Saudi Arabia's continued support to the Yemeni PLC, stressing the importance of giving priority to the national interests of all Yemeni parties to reach comprehensive and lasting peace that contributes in achieving prosperity and development for Yemen and its people. The meeting was attended by Saudi Arabia's Ambassador to Yemen Mohammed Al Jabir, Director General of the Office of Minister of Defense Hisham bin Saif, and members of the Yemeni PLC.
