Cabinet follows up on KSA diplomatic efforts to stop military operations in Gaza

The Cabinet, chaired by Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed Bin Salman n Tuesday in Riyadh, followed up on the diplomatic efforts undertaken by the Kingdom in various arenas to urge the international community to assume its responsibilities in stopping military operations in Gaza.
It also urged the enabling of relief organizations to deliver urgent humanitarian aid to civilians and find a just and comprehensive solution that meets the aspirations of the Palestinian people.
At the outset of the session, the Crown Prince briefed the Cabinet on details of the phone call he received from the President of the United States of America, where the Crown Prince affirmed the Kingdom's stance towards the developments in Gaza.
Meanwhile, the Cabinet In a statement to Saudi Press Agency following the session, State Minister, Cabinet Member for Shoura Council Affairs and Acting Minister of Media Dr. Issam Bin Saad Bin Saeed explained that the Cabinet reviewed the latest developments of the resumption of talks in Jeddah between the Sudanese Armed Forces (SAF) and the Rapid Support Forces (RSF).
The talk have been facilitated by Saudi Arabia and the United States in cooperation with the Intergovernmental Authority on Development (IGAD) with the African Union. The Cabinet expressed hopes that this dialogue would constitute a positive step toward ending the conflict and reach an agreement that can achieve security and stability for Sudan and its people.
The Cabinet also examined the significant events and economic activities hosted by the Kingdom in recent days, praising the success of the 7th Edition of the Future Investment Initiative (FII) and its consequential achievements, notably the initiation of investments totaling over $17 billion.
The Cabinet approved two draft guiding models for two memoranda of understanding (MoUs) for cooperation in the logistic services sector and the postal sector between the Ministry of Transport and Logistic Services of Saudi Arabia and its counterparts in other countries.

The Cabinet authorized the minister of investment to sign an agreement between Saudi Arabia and the Islamic Republic of Mauritania on the encouragement and mutual protection of investments.
It authorized to discuss and sign with the Qatari side regarding draft agreements and memoranda of understanding (MoUs) between Saudi Arabia and Qatar for cooperation in the areas of encouraging direct investment, the work of central banks, nuclear safety and radiation protection, the avoidance of double taxation with respect to taxes on income, and the prevention of tax evasion and avoidance.
The Cabinet approved a tripartite agreement among Saudi Arabia, the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO), and the Regional Center of Quality and Excellence in Education on the renewal of the center as center (2nd category) under the supervision of UNESCO.
It approved a memorandum of understanding (MoU) between the Saudi Export Development Authority and the Ministry of Commerce of the People's Republic of China for cooperation in the field of participation of Saudi Arabia as a guest of honor in the China-Arab States Expo.
It approved the bylaw of the Saudi Red Sea Authority. — SPA
