The Saudi Data and AI Authority (SDAIA), which supervises the National Platform for Charity Work (Ehsan), announced that the volume of donations received by Ehsan over the past two years since its establishment has reached more than SR4 billion, from which 4,873,677 men and women benefited. Ehsan enabled members of the community to donate easily through reliable official channels, which ensured that donations reached those who deserved them in various fields of charity work. SDAIA President and Chairman of the Ehsan Supervisory Committee Dr. Abdullah bin Sharaf Al-Ghamdi extended thanks and gratitude to Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman and to Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman for the great support for the platform, namely their generous donations of SR70 million during the holy month of Ramadan in the third year of Ehsan's existence. Al-Ghamdi expressed sincere thanks to those who got involved in charitable work and donated money to extend a helping hand to the needy through Ehsan. The platform applies the highest standards of governance in its work, within the framework of the directives of Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, using advanced technologies to promote charitable work. It is supervised by 12 government agencies that form a supervisory committee. It also has a Shariah committee that ensures that the platform's activities comply with the provisions of Islamic law. Through its charitable and awareness campaigns, the platform aims to promote the culture of charitable work and community solidarity, in line with the goals of Saudi Vision 2030, support community projects and humanitarian cases, and enable the community to donate through reliable official channels.
