Saudi Arabia, represented by the Ministry of Economy and Planning, and a number of government entities is participating in the United Nations Conference on the Least Developed Countries, held in Doha, Qatar, between March 5 and 9, 2023. Minister of Economy and Planning Faisal Bin Fadhel Al Ibrahim, head of the Saudi delegation, will deliver the Kingdom's address at the conference. The Ministry of Economy and Planning will be joining key government entities at the conference, including the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Finance, the Saudi Fund for Development, the Saudi Development and Reconstruction Program for Yemen and the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre. The Kingdom will be participating in both plenary sessions and in high-level thematic roundtables to explore avenues of collaboration in support of LDCs. The delegation will also host three events on the sidelines of the conference, Al Ibrahim will hold meetings with key high-level government officials to discuss the scope of collaboration to enhance economic development in LDCs. Saudi Arabia is a major contributor of development assistance to several of these nations, in line with the United Nation's 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development. — SPA
