RIYADH — Turki Al-Sheikh, chairman of the Board of Directors of the General Entertainment Authority (GEA), has ordered the extension of the activities at the 'Boulevard World,' one of the major zones of the third edition of the Riyadh Season until March 22, corresponding to Shaban 30, 1444.
Boulevard World is a premier entertainment zone suitable for families and individuals who are into traveling, exploring and playing. With The Sphere, Area 15, the world's largest man-made lake, and wonders happening for the first time, it is a recreational place that suits all ages and nationalities.
The huge Riyadh Season zone was opened in November 2022 in Hittin. The new zone is a world in itself with nine different countries to explore, as well as the world's largest artificial lake and theme park rides.
Al-Sheikh said that the third edition of the Riyadh Season, which launched on Oct. 21, 2022, drew more than 12 million visitors from inside and outside the Kingdom.
"This number reflects the attractiveness of what characterized the season and the diversity of its activities and its transformation into a major attraction for visitors and tourists from home and abroad, thanks to the support and directives of Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed Bin Salman," he added.
During the third Riyadh Season, the Boulevard World zone brought together cultures of 10 countries in a single location on the largest artificial lake in the world.
Visitors were able to learn about different cultures across the world through several sub-zones inspired by Morocco, China, Italy, France, India, Spain, America, Japan, Greece and Mexico.
For both families and individuals, Boulevard World is a premier entertainment destination, featuring a host of experiences, including rides in hot air balloons, submarines and boats.
At the largest man-made lake in the world, boats can travel between cities through 11 stations.
It also offers the Area 15 experience from Las Vegas; The Sphere, the biggest spherical theater in the world; a city for game fans; comic book and anime-themed activities; apart from plenty of family
