MAKKAH — Police in Makkah were called to control a man who was in an unstable state and carrying a sword and a knife. Makkah police spokesman Lt. Col. Abdulmuhsen Al-Maiman said officers received notification from a citizen that his brother was acting bizarrely and carrying a sword and knife. He had reportedly locked himself in his apartment and mumbling unclear words. Police attended the scene and were able to break into the apartment and apprehend the man. He was taken to King Abdulaziz Hospital's psychiatry section for assessment.
