Published in The Saudi Gazette on 02 - 01 - 2023

The General Presidency for the Affairs of the Two Holy Mosques, in cooperation with other government agencies working at the Grand Mosque, has implemented emergency plans to deal with rainfall in the Grand Mosque amidst early preparations to ensure the safety and security of visitors of the mosque.
The Presidency, represented by the services and environmental achievement agency, hired more than 200 supervisors and observers, 4,000 workers, and more than 500 equipment to deal with today's rainy conditions at the Grand Mosque.
The Presidency explained that various locations and exits of the mosque were prepared after rainfall, where efforts were intensified to remove the effects of the rain in order to ensure the safety of visitors of the Grand Mosque to perform their rituals easily.
Stakeholders also distributed water pumps and laundry equipment inside and outside the mosque to actively contribute to the drying process and intensifying its preparations for the emergency. — SPA
