SEOUL — Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman met with South Korean business leaders in Seoul on Thursday to discuss business cooperation. During the meeting, they reviewed the promising investment opportunities in Saudi Arabia in different sectors, such as technology, energy, industry, construction and the smart cities. Samsung Electronics Executive Chairman Lee Jae-yong, SK Group Chairman Chey Tae-won and Hyundai Motor Group's Chairman Euisun Chung were among the eight South Korean business leaders who attended the meeting held late in the day with the Crown Prince at a hotel in downtown Seoul, the Yonhap news agency reported. The meeting was attended by the Minister of Energy Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman, Minister of Commerce and Acting Minister of Media Dr. Majid Al-Qasabi, Minister of Investment Eng. Khalid Al-Falih, Minister of Economy and Planning Faisal Al-Ibrahim, Governor of the Public Investment Fund Yasir Al-Rumayyan. The Crown Prince arrived in Seoul on Wednesday on an official visit after attending the G20 Summit in Bali, Indonesia. The Crown visit to South Korea is part of his current Asian tour. Upon his arrival the Crown Prince held official talks with the South Korean Prime Minister Han Duck-soo, as they reviewed the friendly Saudi-Korean bilateral relations. They also discussed the prospects for bilateral cooperation and ways to develop and enhance it in various fields. During the second day of the Saudi Crown Prince official visit to South Korea, he met with the South Korean President Yoon Suk-yeol and held key talks at the presidential residence in Seoul.
