Crown Prince Mohammed Bin Salman, prime minister, received at the Royal Court at Al-Salam Palace in Jeddah, South African President Cyril Ramaphosa. An official reception ceremony was held for the South African president. The Crown Prince and the president of South Africa held a session of official talks, during which the bilateral relations between the two countries and aspects of cooperation in various fields were reviewed, in addition to discussing a number of issues of common interest. The Crown Prince and the South African president witnessed the ceremony of exchanging an agreement, cooperation program and bilateral memoranda of understanding between the two countries. The session of the talks was attended by Prince Turki Bin Mohammed Bin Fahd, minister of state and Cabinet's member; Prince Abdulaziz Bin Saud Bin Naif, minister of interior; Prince Abdullah Bin Bandar, minister of National Guard, and Prince Faisal Bin Farhan Bin Abdullah, minister of foreign affairs. It was also attended by the Minister of Tourism Ahmed Bin Aqeel Al-Khateeb; Minister of Investment, Eng. The following deals were signed: • A memorandum of understanding for cooperation and exchange of news between the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) in Saudi Arabia and the state-run South African News Agency in South Africa between the Acting Minister of Media and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Saudi Press Agency Dr. Majid Bin Abdullah Al-Qasabi, and South Africa Minister of Trade, Industry and Competition Patel. • A memorandum of understanding between the government of Saudi Arabia and the government of South Africa for cooperation in the field of encouraging direct investment between the Minister of Investment Al-Falih and South Africa Minister of Trade, Industry and Competition Patel. • A memorandum of understanding between the Special Economic Cities and Zones Authority in Saudi Arabia and South Africa Ministry of Trade, Industry and Competition to cooperate in their fields of competence between the Minister of Investment Al-Falih, and South Africa Minister of Trade, Industry and Competition Patel. • A memorandum of understanding between the government of Saudi Arabia and the government of South Africa for cooperation in the field of communications and information technology between the Minister of Communications and Information Technology, Eng.
