JEDDAH — Rage On the Red Sea post-fight press conference made Anthony Joshua cries, while the title winner Oleksandr Usyk of Ukraine responded that he feels nothing but respect for Joshua, saying "what Joshua did at the arena is showing of his frustrations, which is a common human emotion." The post-fight press conference had started immediately after the historical rematch between the two champions Usyk and Joshua, here in Jeddah, where Usyk had retained his titles from Joshua after the match ended by a split decision. In the press meet, Usyk defended his country and its economy, history and its army, as he said that the belts are coming back to Ukraine, "The victory is with us, and Ukraine has won". He said that fight was extremely important for Ukraine, and personally for him, because he did boxing for the whole country and half of the world. Usyk said that people around the world must open their eyes to see clearly what is going on in Ukraine. On his part, Joshua was deeply moved by the loss at the post-fight press conference, as Eddie Hearn, the founder of Matchroom Sport, started defending him and talked about the pressures Joshua was experiencing and his passion and hunger to win. Joshua said he tried different styles of exercises during the past 11 months, but it was not enough to make able to fight as a boxer as he wanted to be. He said: "I wanted to compete as a boxer, but it wasn't good enough, and tonight wasn't good enough." The British professional boxer immediately broke down in tears when asked about if he is proud of himself, he said it hard for him to say that he is proud of himself. He said that he does not feel anything but he is just upset from deep down of his heart, then he could not complete answering the question and started crying, letting Hearn answer other questions in order to calm down a bit so he could talk again. Hearn said that Joshua is giving his whole life to boxing, adding that there is no one he knows that more dedicated his life to sport than him, "Joshua never shows the pressure on him, and always tries to give his time to people and inspire the next generation" he said. Usyk said when asked to reply to Joshua's emotional speech when he was praising him at the arena, he answered that he wants to stay a humble person and he does n't want the bright in his heart to get bigger. "I do not believe in good words. The one who brings himself up, the Lord will bring him down, and the one who stays down the Lord will bring him up," he said while confirming that he feels nothing but respect for Joshua.
