Saudi embassies in Morocco, Spain and Portugal warn citizens of forest fires

RABAT/ MADRID/LISBON — Saudi Arabia's embassies in Morocco, Spain and Portugal have warned Saudi citizens residing there against forest fires.
The Saudi embassy in Rabat warned all citizens residing in Morocco to be careful and ensure their safety from wildfires. It issued the warning in the wake of the outbreak of fires in many forests in the northern provinces of Morocco such as Taza, Larache, Ouazzane, Chefchaouen, Tetouan and some other cities.
The embassy said that citizens should abide by the instructions of the local authorities in Morocco, adding that it receives inquiries over the embassy phone: 00212537633,000, the email of the consular section: [email protected]; the Saudi affairs phone: 212678748010, and the e-mail for Saudis: [email protected].
As for the Saudi embassy in Madrid, it has called on citizens in various regions of Spain to be careful and abide by the instructions of the local authorities, as the country is witnessing an outbreak of fires in many forests.

For its part, the Saudi embassy in Lisbon warned all Saudi citizens and residents in Portugal or those coming to visit the country to take the utmost caution and stay away from dangerous areas. This is in the wake of the declaration of emergency by the Portuguese local authorities following the spread of forest fires.
