MBS arrives in Turkey on last leg of regional tour

ANKARA — Crown Prince Mohammed Bin Salman, deputy premier and minister of defense, arrived in Turkey on Wednesday.
Upon his arrival at the Presidential Complex in Ankara, he was welcomed by the Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan where he was accorded an official reception ceremony.
The Crown Prince and the Turkish President held a bilateral meeting upon arriving at the Presidential Complex.

It is noteworthy that the Crown Prince's visit to Turkey is the last stop of his regional tour. He arrived in Ankara after concluding the second leg of his tour in Jordan where he was received by Jordanian King Abdullah II and Crown Prince Hussein Bin Abdullah.
Crown Prince Mohammed Bin Salman held talks with Jordan's King Abdullah II at Al-Husseiniya Palace, where he stated, "The goal is to push for a new phase of cooperation for the benefit of Jordan and Saudi Arabia, and there are great opportunities in Jordan that will benefit both the countries."
The Crown Prince started his regional tour by visiting Egypt on Monday, where he was welcomed by the Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi at Cairo International Airport. They held talks at Ittihadiya presidential palace on Tuesday morning.
The visits are based on the directives of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman. They aim to strengthen Saudi Arabia's relations with the three regional countries.
