Donations received by the National Campaign for Charitable Work (Ehsan) have exceeded SR2 billion. This exceptional and unprecedented achievement in the history of charitable giving in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia comes with the support and empowerment of the Kingdom's leadership for charitable work. This achievement of Ehsan platform reflects the great levels of confidence that the platform enjoys among donors and benefactors, and the qualitative leap it has made in facilitating the delivery of donations to their beneficiaries in all areas and opportunities being sponsored by the platform with the highest levels of efficiency and reliability. The successes achieved by the Ehsan platform within a short period and still are because of the continuous empowerment of the Kingdom's leadership, which culminated in the issuance of the royal approval to launch the national campaign for charitable work for the second year in a row. This was based on the leadership's keenness to maximize the impact of the charitable work sector, and as an extension of the care accorded by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman and the Crown Prince for charitable works, and to harness the means to organize them, sponsor their activities, and promote the values of social solidarity. The national campaign for charitable work was launched at the beginning of the blessed month of Ramadan with two generous donations from the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and the Crown Prince, which were worth a total of SR50 million in donations. This set the ball rolling for further donations from donors, companies and individuals from various segments of society and its institutions reflecting the deep-rooted goodness of the Kingdom's leadership and the male and female citizens of this country. This is according to the highest levels of oversight, with the follow-up of a supervisory committee consisting of 12 government agencies that verifies the functioning of the platform in accordance with strong and courteous governance that contributed to raising the level of transparency of the charitable sector.
