HURAYMILA — The Civil Defense teams have rescued on Sunday a number of people who were trapped inside a vehicle that submerged in water in a valley in the Huraymila governorate, north of Riyadh. The General Directorate of Civil Defense said that its teams in Huraymila had responded to the rescue mission after receiving information that a group of people were trapped inside their jeep model vehicle that submerged in a pool of water formed following heavy rain in Malham valley in Huraymila. "All of them were rescued and they were in good health," the directorate said in a statement while calling on everyone to be cautious and stay away from low-lying areas, water pools and valleys during rain. The Riyadh region had witnessed on Sunday heavy rain that resulted in sudden torrents and flash-flood hitting slopes, reefs and valleys.
