The command of the Saudi-led coalition to support the legitimate Yemeni government announced late Saturday the downing of three explosives-laden drones that were fired by the Yemeni Houthi militias towards the southern Saudi cities. The command tweeted that the drones were launched from Houthi militants from a site in the Yemeni capital Sanaa. It added that more intelligence information is currently being gathered to prepare for the coalition's response to the source of the terrorist attack. Meanwhile, the Kingdom of Bahrain has strongly condemned the terrorist Houthi militia's launch of three drones against the southern region of Saudi Arabia. Bahrain also praised the vigilance and efficiency of the coalition forces to support legitimacy in Yemen that managed to intercept and destroy the drones. In a statement, Bahraini Ministry of Foreign Affairs reiterated its full support to all measures being taken by Saudi Arabia to maintain its security and stability. The ministry stressed the terrorist acts carried out in a systematic and deliberate manner constitute a blatant attack on the sovereignty, stability and territorial integrity of Saudi Arabia. Also the Kuwait's Foreign Ministry on Sunday expressed in the strongest terms the State of Kuwait condemnation of the Houthi militias' continuing threats to security of Saudi Arabia. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs noted in a statement that the latest of these ongoing threats was the targeting of southern Saudi Arabia with three drones. These hostile actions and the escalation against civilians and civilian regions target not only security of Saudi Arabia but that of the whole region. These attacks constitute flagrant breach of the international laws. The Kuwaiti ministry urged the international community to intervene in a rapid and decisive manner to deter these threats and bring the culprits to account. It affirmed the State of Kuwait full standing alongside the Kingdom, supporting the measures it may take to preserve its security, stability and sovereignty. — SPA
