Qatar Airways offers connections to over 140 destinations
Published in The Saudi Gazette on 02 - 11 - 2021

Qatar Airways is offering passengers in the Middle East and Caucasus region great savings of up to 20 per cent to select destinations, for a sale period of eight days, ending on 8 November 2021.
Travellers dreaming of snow-capped mountains or wanting to spend a cosy evening with family can fulfil their wishes with the winter getaway offers. Passengers joining Qatar Airways' Privilege Club will also earn 1500 Bonus Qmiles.
The national carrier of the State of Qatar continues to rebuild its network, which currently stands at over 140 destinations. With more frequencies being added to key hubs, Qatar Airways offers unrivalled connectivity to passengers. Passengers can experience Qatar Airways' award-winning services and book tickets with guaranteed flexibility* on Business and Economy Class to an expanding network of destinations across Europe, Africa, Middle East and the Americas.
Dersenish Aresandiran, VP Sales – Middle East, Levant, Caucasus and Pakistan said: "We want our passengers to benefit from this winter promotion and experience the joy of travel once again. Countries are opening up, and we observe strong growth and recovery of international travel. The long awaited announcement by the Government of Australia on easing travel restrictions before the winter break has further boosted travel sentiments across the globe."
The promotion is valid on Qatar Airways flights booked to select destinations by 8 November 2021, for travel from now until 31 March 2022. To take advantage of this offer, passengers must book their tickets on qatarairways.com, visit any local Qatar Airways sales office or visit their preferred travel agents.
Privilege Club opens up a world of unique opportunities and exclusive travel benefits, such as unlimited lounge access, complimentary extra baggage allowance, priority check-in, tier bonus and more. Last year, Privilege Club continued to invest in redefining the programme, including cutting the number of Qmiles required to book award flights by up to 49 per cent. It also revised its Qmiles policy so that when a member earns or spends them, their balance is valid for 36 months.
A multiple award-winning airline, Qatar Airways was announced as the 'Airline of the Year' at the 2021 World Airline Awards, managed by the international air transport rating organisation, Skytrax. It was also named 'World's Best Business Class', 'World's Best Business Class Airline Lounge', 'World's Best Business Class Airline Seat', 'World's Best Business Class Onboard Catering' and 'Best Airline in the Middle East'.
The airline continues to stand alone at the top of the industry having now won the main prize for an unprecedented sixth time (2011, 2012, 2015, 2017, 2019 and now 2021).
The airline's hub, HIA, was recently recognised as the 'Best Airport in the World 2021', by the Skytrax World Airport Awards 2021.
In addition to this, Qatar Airways has become the first global airline to achieve the prestigious 5-Star COVID-19 Airline Safety Rating by Skytrax.
This follows the success of HIA as the first airport in the Middle East and Asia to be awarded a Skytrax 5-Star COVID-19 Airport Safety Rating.
These awards provide assurance to passengers across the world that the airline's health and safety standards are subject to the highest possible standards of professional, independent scrutiny and assessment. For full details of all the measures that have been implemented on board and at HIA, please visit qatarairways.com/safety.
