A galaxy of regional and global leaders arrived in droves to attend and participate in the Middle East Green Initiative Summit here Monday. The leaders were welcomed and received by Prince Mohammed Bin Abdulrahman bin Abdulaziz, acting governor of Riyadh Region; Prince Faisal Bin Abdulaziz Bin Ayyaf, mayor of Riyadh Region and a number of senior officials at King Khalid International Airport. Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance of the United Arab Emirates Sheikh Maktoum Bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum and his accompanying delegation arrived in Riyadh. Also Ambassador of the UAE to Saudi Arabia Sheikh Nahyan Bin Saif Al Nahyan was at the airport to receive them. Qatar Emir Sheikh Tamim Bin Hamad Al Thani and the accompanying delegation arrived in Riyadh today to participate in the Middle East Green Initiative Summit. Maj. Gen.l Fahd Bin Zaid Al-Mutairi, director of Riyadh Region Police; Acting Charge d'Affaires of the Qatar Embassy Hassan Bin Mansour Al-Khater, and a representative of the royal protocol were at hand to welcome him. The Kuwaiti Crown Prince Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah and the accompanying delegation too arrived in Riyadh to participate in the Middle East Green Initiative Summit. Maj. Gen. Fahd Bin Zaid Al-Mutairi, director of the Riyadh Region Police; Kuwaiti Ambassador Sheikh Ali Al-Khaled Al-Jaber Al-Sabah and a representative of the Royal Protocol received the leader at the airport. Also, Crown Prince and Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Bahrain Prince Salman Bin Hamad Al Khalifa and his accompanying delegation arrived in Riyadh to participate in the Middle East Green Initiative Summit. Bahrain Ambassador Sheikh Hamoud Bin Abdullah Al Khalifa and a number of senior officials were at hand to welcome him. Iraqi Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance Ali Abdulamir Allawi and the accompanying delegation arrived in Riyadh to participate in the MEGI Summit. Upon arrival at King Khalid International Airport he was received by Minister of State for Foreign Affairs and Cabinet Member Adel Bin Ahmed Al-Jubeir; Iraqi Ambassador Abdulsattar Al-Janabi, and a representative of the royal protocol. Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Alexander Novak, and the accompanying delegation arrived in Riyadh for the Middle East Green Initiative Summit. He too was received by Minister of State for Foreign Affairs and Cabinet Member Adel Bin Ahmed Al-Jubeir. Russian Ambassador Sergey Kozlov and a representative of the Royal Protocol were also at hand. Jordan's Crown Prince Al-Hussein Bin Abdullah II and the accompanying delegation arrived in Riyadh to participate in the Middle East Green Initiative Summit. At the airport he was met by Maj. Gen. Fahd Bin Zaid Al-Mutairi, director of the Riyadh Region Police; Jordan's Ambassador Ali Al-Kayed and a representative of the Royal Protocol. The Prime Minister and Minister of Finance of Algeria Aimene Benabderrahmane and his accompanying delegation too arrived in Riyadh to participate in the Middle East Green Initiative Summit.
