Dr. Al Rabeeah meets with Yemeni Minister Eng. Al-Sharjabi

Advisor at the Royal Court and General Supervisor of King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) Dr. Abdullah Bin Abdulaziz Al Rabeeah met here Tuesday with Yemeni Minister of Water and Environment Eng. Tawfiq Abdulwahed Al-Sharjabi.
During the meeting, Dr. Al-Rabeeah reviewed the projects and programs provided by KSrelief in the field of water and environmental sanitation in Yemen, amounting to 32 projects, at a value of $212,869,000.
They also discussed the humanitarian and relief projects related to the environmental system and water sector in Yemen as well as ways to support them.
Minister Al-Sharjabi expressed thanks to and appreciation of Saudi Arabia under the leadership of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King and Crown Prince Muhammad Bin Salman for the great support being provided for Yemen in various fields, pointing out to the depth of relations between the two countries.
Meanwhile, as many as 11 relief trucks, affiliating to KSrelief crossed Al-Wadiah crossing point, during the period from Sept. 8 to Oct. 4, 2021, carrying 2,049 food baskets weighing 300439 kilograms and 3,000 cartons of dates for distribution in Hajjah, Shabwah, Aden, Marib, Al-Mahrah Governorates, Yemen.
This comes within the relief and humanitarian projects being provided by KSrelief, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's relief arm, to the Yemeni people.

Burundian foreign minister
Dr. Al Rabeeah met here Tuesday with Minister of Foreign Affairs and Development Cooperation of the Republic of Burundi Albert Shingiro.
During the meeting, they discussed issues pertaining to humanitarian and relief affairs between the two countries, in addition to the support being provided by Saudi Arabia, via the KSrelief, to the several countries of the world.
The Burundian foreign minister commended the efforts being exerted by Saudi Arabia for supporting the afflicted and needy people in the world.
KSrelief chief meets
with UK Ambassador
Dr. Al Rabeeah met here Tuesday with Ambassador of the United Kingdom to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Neil Crompton.
During the meeting, the UK Ambassador was briefed on what the KSrelief has provided to the afflicted and needy people in 70 countries around the world, especially in Yemen.
He was also briefed on the relief programs being implemented by the KSrelief in cooperation with the United Nations relief and humanitarian organizations.
They also discussed issues related to the humanitarian and relief affairs and the relations between the KSrelief and the Development Department at the UK Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office and ways to enhance them. — SPA
