SARAJEVO — Saudi Arabia's Minister of Islamic Affairs, Call and Guidance Sheikh Abdullatif Al Al-Sheikh, who is also the chairman of the Board of Trustees of King Fahd Cultural Center in Sarajevo, paid a visit to the center on Friday as part of his visit to Bosnia and Herzegovina.
During the visit, he was accompanied by Saudi Ambassador to Bosnia and Herzegovina Osama Bin Dakhil Al-Ahmadi.
The minister was briefed on the center's activities, services and programs by its Director Mohammed Bin Hassan Al Al-Sheikh.
Minister Al-Sheikh affirmed that this center bears witness to the Kingdom's care for its Muslim brothers in Bosnia and Herzegovina and embodies the keenness of the wise leadership on the dissemination of concepts, values and tolerance of Islam as well as of its great culture.
He thanked Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman and Crown Prince Muhammad Bin Salman for their care and sponsorship of this great cultural edifice, which has become a prominent center for promoting a culture of tolerance and coexistence, and the rejection of all forms of racism and extremism.
On Thursday, Al-Sheikh visited the King Fahd Mosque in Sarajevo along with Ambassador Osama bin Dakhil Al Ahmadi and Director of the King Fahd Cultural Center Dr. Muhammad Bin Hassan Al Sheikh.
He inspected the level of services being provided in the mosque, which is one of the most important Islamic edifices in Bosnia and the Balkans.
It is noteworthy that the King Fahd Mosque is located in the heart of the Bosnian capital Sarajevo and was inaugurated in 2000 as part of one of the largest civilizational projects in the Balkans.
