Published in The Saudi Gazette on 14 - 05 - 2021

The Arab Parliament condemned the terrorist Houthi militia's launching a number of drones and ballistic missiles towards the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, which were successfully intercepted and confronted by the Coalition Forces for Supporting Legitimacy in Yemen.
The Arab Parliament stressed, in a statement Friday that Houthi terrorist militia's deliberate continuation to carry out terrorist acts that coincided with the first days of the blessed Eid Al-Fitr, inconsistent with values and international norms and reflects its blatant defiance of the international community and its disregard for all international and humanitarian laws and norms.
It warned that the continuation of these attacks reflects a dangerous escalation and evidence of these terrorist militias seeking to undermine security and stability in the region with the support of Iran and in implementation of its subversive agenda, calling on the international community to quickly take an immediate and decisive stance to stop these repeated actions targeting civilians and civilian objects in a systematic and deliberate manner.
The Arab Parliament also affirmed its solidarity and stand with the Kingdom and its support in all the measures it takes to defend its territory and preserve its security and the safety of its citizens and residents, stressing that the Kingdom's security is an integral part of Arab security. It also praised the vigilance and efficiency of the coalition forces.
In Manama, Bahrain strongly condemned Houthi terrorist militia's launch of a number of ballistic missiles and explosive-laden drones towards the territory of Saudi Arabia, in a systematic and deliberate terrorist act targeting the security and safety of civilians.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs affirmed that Bahrain stands by Saudi Arabia in confronting the Houthi terrorist attacks that aim to undermine the security and stability of the Kingdom.
The ministry commended the vigilance of the coalition that were able to intercept and destroy these Houthi ballistic missiles and drones, calling on the international community to condemn these terrorist acts that violate international laws and norms.
In Amman, the Jordanian government strongly condemned and denounced the terrorist Houthi militia's launching of a number of (booby trapped) drones and ballistic missiles towards Saudi Arabia, which the coalition forces supporting legitimacy in Yemen successfully managed to intercept and destroy them.
The Jordanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated in its statement that the continuation of these cowardly terrorist acts constitutes a violation of international humanitarian laws, stressing that the security of the two countries is one and indivisible and that any threat to the security of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is a threat to the security of the entire region. — SPA
