New version of 'Tawakkalna' takes into account violators of labor regulations
Published in The Saudi Gazette on 20 - 03 - 2021

RIYADH — Tawakkalna application, affiliated to the Saudi Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority (SDAIA), announced the launch of its new version, which includes a number of distinct services.
The most notable service being the mobile number identification service directly from the application, without the need for identification through Absher platform, Saudi Press Agency said Saturday.
In addition, it allows expatriate workers to register in the app, regardless of their legal status.
The "Mobile Number Identification" service in Tawakkalna enables the citizen and resident to recommend any person; whether he is a dependent, sponsored, or any other person who does not have an account in Absher, by identifying his mobile number directly through the application, so that he can register without the need for a recommendation from the Absher platform.
This service also allows the possibility of re-identifying the person when he wants to change his mobile number, as part of the efforts made by the application's owners to improve the user experience and ensure the quality of the services provided.
In its new version, the application added a service (for displaying Sukuk and agencies) to the citizen and resident, as this service enables the user to view all the instruments and agencies, registered with the Ministry of Justice, based on the identity card number, with the ability to save the instrument in PDF format.
It is noteworthy that when choosing one of the instruments in the 'My Sukuk' service, the Sukuk number, date, city, area, ownership percentage and text of the instrument, will appear.
In support of the state's efforts to counter the coronavirus pandemic, and its interest in ensuring that these efforts include all the citizens and residents, even those who violate the residency and labor regulations, the Tawakkalna Application Department allows us to register in the application expatriate workers who have some systemic problems, and that is on humanitarian grounds.
The reason is that the Tawakkalna app has proved its effectiveness as a preventive procedure to limit the spread of coronavirus, and the application continues at an accelerated pace to add government services to reach the desired goal, for it to be a comprehensive app that contains all the services that the citizen, resident and visitor need to carry out their daily work.
SDAIA called on all users to take the initiative and update the application via "Google Play", "AppStore" and "AppGallery" stores, so as to benefit from the new services that have been added recently, and to ensure that the application works efficiently and effectively as designed for, in order to ensure the highest degrees of privacy, confidentiality and security of information and data.
