The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) signed here Tuesday a joint agreement to provide school bags for Yemeni children, with a total value of $323,191. The agreement aims to provide educational support and ensure the continuation of the educational process for the children of martyrs, the wounded, and marginalized groups in displaced people camps inside Yemen. It also aims to empower women supporting families of orphans by obtaining a source of income through creating job opportunities for families with limited income. The project will benefit 20,000 children and 100 women in a number of Yemeni regions. This agreement comes within the framework of humanitarian projects being provided by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, through KSrelief, to support the Yemeni people in various fields and improve their living conditions. The KSrelief virtually signed here on Monday a joint cooperation agreement with the Philippine Red Cross (PRC), to distribute food baskets, in Marawi city. The signing of the agreement was attended by Advisor to the Royal Court and KSrelief Supervisor General Dr. Abdullah Bin Abdulaziz Al-Rabeeah, Saudi Ambassador to the Philippines Dr. Abdullah Al-Basiri and member of the Philippine Senate and PRC Chairman Richard Gordon. The agreement was co-signed by KSrelief Assistant Supervisor General for Operations and Programs Eng. Ahmed Bin Ali Al-Baiz and the PRC Chairman, to distribute 5,000 food baskets, benefiting 5,000 families and individuals. — SPA
