Usman Butt's brilliant 120 runs coupled with Naseer Reshi fine all-round performance (84 runs and 5 for 44 runs) along with solid batting by Bilal Yususf (79), Nazeer (75), Mohsin (74), and Malik (66) were the highlights of the 2nd week of the Ace Travel Saudi Cup sponsored by Ace Travel and organized by JCA under auspices of Saudi Arabian Cricket Federation.
Butt's smashing120 runs of only 53 balls enabled Center Systems Group post a mammoth tally of 262 for 6 to win by 25 runs against K Chinar, whose desperate run chase of 237 for 4 ended up on the losing side despite Naseer Reshi (84 runs and 5 for 44) solid all-round performance.
Deccan Knights began their journey with a 7 wicket win scoring 151 for 3 in response to Al Burj score of 150 for 7, thanks to some good bowling in tandem by Akber (3 for 19) and Khalid (2 for 19), Bilal Yusuf (79) fighting knock going in vain.
ARM United's comfortable win over ICAD by 5 wickets was possible with Nazeer's (75) polished knock, despite Mohsin 74 runs and 2 for 23 all-round performance going in vain. Makkah Eagles had to struggle before ending at 158 for 6 to win by 4 wickets on the last ball against Butt Sports courtesy Malik's (66) fighting knock.
Center Systems Group beat K Chinar by 25 runs
Center Systems Group 262 for 6 20 overs Usman Butt 120 (53b), Imran 48, Naseer 5 for 44. K Chinar 237 for 4 20 overs Naseer 84 (41), Arif 50 (30), Zahid Khan 2 for 37.
Deccan Knights beat Al Burj by 5 wickets
Al Burj 150 for 7 18 overs Bilal Yousuf 79 (48b), Adil 28, Akber 3 for 19, Khalid 2 for 19. Deccan Knights 151 for 3 14.5 overs Bilal (46), Najeed (43) Usman 37NO, Usman 2 for 41.
ARM United beat ICAD by 5 wickets
ICAD 187 all out Mohsin 74 (47b), Shakeel 36, Moeed 2 for 13, Zeeshan 2 for 43. ARM United 191 for 5 wickets 18.5 overs Nazeer 75 (42), Arsalan 48, Shakir 26NO, Mohsin 2 for 23, Khalid 2 for 36.
Makkah Eagles beat Butt Sports by 4 wickets
