Teachers in Bahrain are being tested for the coronavirus after authorities postponed the new school year by two weeks due to a rise in cases. Teaching and administrative staff in Bahrain were due to return to public schools on Sept. 6. But, their return has been delayed until Sept. 20. Teaching and administrative staff have been required to undergo tests at a drive-through center in the Bahrain International Exhibition and Convention Center in Manama. The tests are scheduled according to advance appointments to facilitate the process and head off crowding, the Education Ministry said. — Agencies
