JEDDAH — On announcing the appointment of Sheikh Abdullah Saleh Kamel as the president of the Islamic Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture, by acclamation, businessmen welcomed the decision to appoint him as the Chamber's third president. On behalf of the business sector in Saudi Arabia and the Muslim world and on the occasion of choosing Abdullah Saleh Kamel as President of the Islamic Chamber, the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Saudi Chambers Ajlan Al-Ajlan congratulated Abdullah Kamel, wishing him success in serving the aspirations of the Chamber and strengthening commercial ties between Islamic countries. Meanwhile, through their Twitter account, chairman and members of the Board of Directors of the Madinah Chamber of Commerce and Industry, lauded the appointment of Abdullah Kamel as President of the Islamic Chamber by acclamation during the 30th Board of Directors meeting and the 36th session of the General Assembly. They added that Abdullah Kamel is the right successor to his father. For his part, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Commerce Abdulsalam Al-Manea gave his blessings to the Kingdom's nominee, Abdullah Kamel, on the occasion of the great confidence reposed in him as depicted by his selection as president of the Islamic Chamber. Chairman of the Board of Directors of one of the groups specializing in organizing events, and member of the Technical Committee of the General Entertainment Authority (GEA) Zaki Hassanein too congratulated Abdullah Kamel. Chairman of the Board of Directors of Yanbu Chamber of Commerce and Industry (YCCI) Murad Al-Arawi congratulated the selection of Abdullah Saleh Kamel as president of the Islamic Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture, wishing him all success.
