"DEWA has started testing the different uses of the Spot Robots in its internal operations, becoming the first utility in the region to use this robot, developed by Boston Dynamics, the utility authority said in a statement on Monday." "DEWA will use it in detecting faults, testing connection points of high-voltage cables, detecting leakage in water pipes, conducting security and monitoring patrols." The move is the authority's strategy to use the latest technologies and adopt artificial intelligence in its different operations.
