RIYADH — The General Authority of Civil Aviation in Saudi Arabia signed an agreement for an exchange of training packages and tools in the field of civil aviation security as part of Appendix A of the memorandum of cooperation between the GACA and Department for Transport in the United Kingdom.
The Saudi side was represented by GACA Assistant President for Aviation Security Mohammad Bin Saad Al-Fouzan, while the Deputy Director-General of Aviation Security Operations at the Department of Transport in the United Kingdom Kashif Chaudhry represented the UK side.
Appendix A of the memorandum of cooperation between the GACA and the Ministry of Transport in the United Kingdom includes issues of support, development, and raising the efficiency of workers in the field of aviation security.
It is noteworthy that the MoU between the two sides was signed in April 2018 in Riyadh, seeking to enhance joint cooperation between the two countries in the field of civil aviation security, qualification, training and capacity building and access to the latest technologies and best practices in various fields of civil aviation security.
