"Benefit" company, the Bahraini and the region's leading provider of electronic financial transactions, announced that users of the National eWallet for smartphones "BenefitPay" could donate through it to "Smile" initiative of the Future Society for Youth, which provides psychosocial support to children with cancer in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
"Benefit" company's CEO Abdulwahid Janahi stated that this announcement comes within the framework of the company's keenness to develop its social responsibility towards the Bahraini society and to support voluntary institutions and organizations working to provide services to the needy segments.
He added that "Benefit" aims to provide added value to its products and services and satisfy the constantly evolving requirements of users, and this comes in line with its innovative vision, which represents the prime factor in operating its business and managing its products.
"We are pleased to cooperate with Smile Initiative to facilitate obtaining donations from several institutions and individuals who wish to contribute in an easy, rapid and transparent manner. We will be honored to pursue our partnership with "Smile", which provides quality services to children with cancer and their families," Janahi added.
Chairman of Future Society for Youth Sabah Abdul Rahman Al Zayani praised 'Benefit" Company represented by its CEO and all its employees for their priceless support to the "Smile" initiative and including it in the list of voluntary national initiatives that can receive donations through the "BenefitPay", stressing that such step is considered an innovation in voluntary work and keeping up with the developments in the field of electronic payment and digital transformation in Bahrain.
"This initiative from "Benefit" company would enhance Smile's ability to advance its goals in the service of children with cancer and their families in the Kingdom of Bahrain, and to improve projects and programs offered to them such as the "Abjad Educational" program, "Child's wish" and "Improving the home environment" and other projects the initiative has been implementing and expanding since 2010 until now," Al Zayani added. — SG
