TAWAL's Board of Directors announced the appointment of Eng. Mohammed bin Abdulaziz Alhakbani as Chief Executive Officer from January 12, 2020. Engineer Alhakbani holds a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering and a Master's degree in Computer Engineering from King Saud University. He has more than 20 years of experience in the telecommunications field. Eng. Mohammed has previously worked in many positions at STC. He started in 2003 as a Planning Engineer for the broadband network. After that in 2007, he moved abroad to work as a Project Manager responsible to launch STC's subsidiary mobile network in Indonesia. In mid-2011, Eng. Alhakbani was promoted to general manager of Network Services and Solutions. And in 2015, he joined the Enterprise unit in STC as VP of Business Operations and then after VP of Enterprise Accounts sales, managing the sales team that offers telecom and ICT services to the Enterprise and SME segment.
