Alhakbani appointed Chief Executive Officer at TAWAL

TAWAL's Board of Directors announced the appointment of Eng. Mohammed bin Abdulaziz Alhakbani as Chief Executive Officer from January 12, 2020.
Commenting on this, Ameen bin Fahad Alshiddi, Chairman of the Board at TAWAL, said: "On behalf of the Board of Directors, we are delighted to welcome Eng. Mohamed within the company. He is one of the chief experts in the field and we are confident that he will reinforce the company's leading role in providing integrated ICT infrastructure. We wish him every success in his new position and in enhancing the company's performance to the highest levels to achieve its goals in supporting the desired digital transformation in the Kingdom, according to the National Transformation Program 2020, and Vision 2030."
Eng. Mohammed Alhakbani as well expressed his deep appreciation to all members of the Board of Directors at TAWAL for their confidence and support to strengthen the company's pioneering position and to provide the latest infrastructure services and solutions for the information and communication technology sector within the Kingdom and the region.
Engineer Alhakbani holds a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering and a Master's degree in Computer Engineering from King Saud University. He has more than 20 years of experience in the telecommunications field. Eng. Mohammed has previously worked in many positions at STC. He started in 2003 as a Planning Engineer for the broadband network. After that in 2007, he moved abroad to work as a Project Manager responsible to launch STC's subsidiary mobile network in Indonesia. In mid-2011, Eng. Alhakbani was promoted to general manager of Network Services and Solutions. And in 2015, he joined the Enterprise unit in STC as VP of Business Operations and then after VP of Enterprise Accounts sales, managing the sales team that offers telecom and ICT services to the Enterprise and SME segment.
