There were thrilling matches in the MBS Vision 2030 cricket championships here.
Huraymala League: Abaseen triumphed over Dir Stars by 100 runs. Abaseen scored 246 losing 8 wickets. Shahid smacked 61 and Ali nicked 50. Ishraf, Azran and Rashid picked up 2 wickets each. Dir were all out for 146 in 16.5 overs. Ishraf slammed 43 and Zia added 32. Nadar picked up 4, Salman claimed 3 and Mueen took 2 wickets.
Pak Riders humbled AKCC by 40 runs. Riders piled up 225/6. Pervaiz hit 71, Farhan smashed with 51 while Irfan supported with 32. Qadir and Zaheer took 2 wickets each. AKCC were restricted to 185 runs in reply. Faisal top scored with 55 and Sabtain made 32. Farhan bagged 4 while Ali got 2 wickets.
Indian Strikers won against Riyadh Blues by 6 wickets. Riyadh Blues posted 167 for 6. Sufiyan scored 54 and Shakeel mustered 29. Fenil and Naster grabbed 3 and 2 wickets respectively. Indian Strikers got the target in 17.2 overs. Prasanth led the inning with his 61 and Kannan batted well for 56. Himayath picked up 2 wickets.
Kashmir Strikers registered a win over Kohsar Blues by 7 wickets. Kohsar collated 227 losing 3 wickets. Saqib batted brilliantly for his 117 and Tahir scored 55. Rehan snared 2 wickets. Kashmir won the match in 19.1 overs thanks to an outstanding knock from Sameer who scored 113. Sami Ul Amin added 58.
SBH Impex humbled Riyadh Warriors by 6 wickets. Warriors added 184 for 6 wickets. Mohsin smashed 79 and Asif hit 64. Shoaib took 3 wickets. Impex chased down the target in 17.2 overs. Rizwan hammered 62 and Zain stroked 47. Ghafoor picked up 2 wickets.
TBCC beat Nizambad United by 20 runs. TBCC collected 190 for 6 wickets. Alif banged 85 and Ashik pushed 34. Ubaid grabbed 2 wickets. Nizambad scored 170 runs in reply. Fazal 41 and Mashood 35 resisted with the bat. Hakeem, Jazim and Faizal shared 2 wickets each.
Hayer League: In Hayer league match, Banglar Tigers got better of Battagram Zalmi. Battagram stumbled to 116. Shoiab topscored with 27. Shahid, Khalid and Mithu bagged 2 wickets each. Banglar rushed to the target in 12.2 overs. Mithu led with 64 and Tuhin helped with 37. Nawab clinched 2 wickets.
S&W Challengers XI thrashed King Lions XI by 6 wickets. Lions accumulated 186 for the loss of 8 wickets. Mamunur played an excellent inning of 80 and Tawarid made 37. Fahad, Mudassir and Nisar bagged 2 wickets each. S&W succeeded in 19.3 overs. Fahad hit 68 and Karthik scored 53. Jahid picked up 2 wickets.
Kashmir XI trounced PTI Tigers by 139 runs. Kashmir scored 261 losing 2 wickets. Amir played a stylish knock of 103 and Noor Zaman hammered 67 while Zakir stroked 34. PTI fumbled to 122 runs in reply. Asim resisted with his 20. Mudasir bagged 2 wickets.
Kashmiri Falcons swept to victory against Saudi Knights by 33 runs. Falcons piled up 177/9. Babar scored a ton hitting 101 and Wajid made 34. Khuram grabbed 4 while Zahid and Junaid picked up 2 wickets each. Knights scored 144 runs in reply. Imran belted 65. Nisar clinched 3 and Afzaal sealed 2 wickets.
Royce Whitestar Blues pounded Ar Riyadh Zalmi by 8 wickets. Batting first, Zalmi posted 140 for 7. Asif belted 45 and Repinath did 34. Zaheer snared 3 and Rizwan took 2. In reply, Harmain 54 and Sajjad 44 took Royce to win in 17.1 overs. — SG
