Chinar routs CH XI in MI Memorial League

Chinar trounced CH XI by 10 wickets, Jeddah Gladiators and Al Burj surprised unbeaten teams ARM United (by 4 wickets) and Royal Jurana (by 17 runs) respectively while Pak Zalmi opened their account with a 2 wicket win over Aces in the 6th week while ARM United beat Butt Sports by 83 runs in the 7th week of the Muhammad Iqbal Memorial T 20 League sponsored by Zultec and organized under the auspices of Jeddah Cricket Association.
Chinar openers Shehzad (62NO) and Naseer (52NO) went on a rampage chasing down target of 126 for no loss in only 6.2 overs to win by 10 wickets against depleted CH XI, who were bundled out for 123 runs.
Jeddah Gladiators surprised ARM chasing down their big score of 217 town by 4 wickets thanks to a superb single-handed effort by Sheroze who slammed an unbeaten 124 runs and well supported by Raja Asif (55) despite half centuries by Arsalan (65), Najam (56*) and Ali (55) and fine spell of 3 for 37 by Hafeez.
Al Burj edged out the other unbeaten team by 17 runs in an exciting match thanks to Bilal Yusuf (67 runs and 2 for 17) and Haider (4 for 30).
Pak Zalmi opened their account with 2 wicket win over Aces, courtesy Zeeshan and Raza picking up 2 wickets a piece and Tauseef who got them through with a patient 49 runs.
ARM United beat Butt Sports by 83 runs thanks to Ali Awan who scored a brilliant unbeaten 129 (55 balls) and Ather Ali 70 (41 balls), despite Junaid lone fightback with an unbeaten 87 (48 balls).
Jeddah Gladiators Beat ARM United by 4 wickets
ARM United 216 for 3 20 overs (Arsalan 65, Ali Awan 55, Najam 56NO). Jeddah Gladiators 217 for 6 18 overs (Sherose 124NO, Raja Asif 55, Hafeez 3 for 37).
Al Burj Beat Royal Jurana by 17 runs
Al Burj 162 for 5 20 overs (Bilal Yusuf 67, Mohsin 27). Royal Jurana 145 for 8 (Ishaq 54, Shoaib 26, Haider 4 for 30, Bilal Yusuf 2 for 17).
Chinar CC Beat CH XI by 10 wickets
