Thrilling ties in RCA T20 event

RIYADH — The ongoing Western Union T20 Cricket Tourney witnessed some thrilling matches this week. The event is being organized by Riyadh Cricket Association and is sponsored by Western Union Money Transfer.
Alkharaj League: Clinical Royce White Star uprooted Fonte Star by 100 runs. Royce accumulated a massive total of 275 for 6. Umer played a standout knock of 101 while Qasim and Ashfaq supported with 41 and 42 runs respectively. Sohail grabbed 2 wickets. Fonte managed 175 in reply. Awais remained not out on 52 off 49 balls. Qasin took 2 wickets.
AR Sports defeated Raavi by 34 runs. AR Sports posted 218 for 3. Sakandar smashed 81 and Mudaser hit 67. Zain claimed 2 wickets. In reply, Raavi was restricted to 184 runs. Shahbaz hammered 61 and Usman stroked 36. Adnan bagged 4 while Waqas got 3 wickets.
Diriyah League: Green Stonz downed Insaf by 43 runs. Rashid 47, Abrar 46 and Naveed 39 helped Stonz to post 226/3. Waqar got 2 wickets. In reply, Insaf managed 183 runs. Ammar 35 and Ali stroked 34 showed resistance. Tahir picked up 3 while Pervaiz and Hassan claimed 2 wickets each.
Gujrat Lions beat Indian Strikers by 66 runs. Gujrat collected 247 for 4 wickets. Rahid banged 60, Mitesh bashed 57 while Yusuf did 40. Roni grabbed 2 wickets. Indian scored 181 runs in reply. Nishad 32 and Sajo 31 batted well. Mohsin and Safwan picked up 2 wickets each.
In a thriller, Kams Indopak beat Shadin Bangla by 8 runs. Kams accumulated 179 losing 8 wickets. Abdulrehman topscored with 64, Kamil did 23. Jonny snared 3 wickets and Naiyem sealed 2 wickets. Bangla fought hard but managed 171 runs only. Zarsad smashed 67, Shakeel mustered 21. Abdulrehman and Kamil claimed 3 wickets each.
Karachi Kings won another nail biter against Khyber Zalmi by 6 runs. Umar 57, Saif 49 and Zain 36 took Kings total to 202/7. Waqar grabbed 3 and Haider took 2 wickets. Khyber scored 196 in allotted 20 overs. Adnan scored courageous 74. Hashim bagged 3 and Imran picked 2 wickets.
Pakhtoon won over Tamauz by 117 runs. Pakhtoon posted 232 for 2 thanks to brilliant fifties from Aftab 85 and Afzal 60. Haroon also played well for his 36. Tamauz, in reply, got bowled out for a meager total of 116. Salman was the lone fighter with 21. Muhib, Zafar and Amjad took 2 wickets each.
Phoenix pounded Smashers by 8 wickets. Smashers posted 169 for 8. Zaeem smacked 54 and Safwan did 37. Ammar, Antar and Shamroze took 2 wickets each. In reply, Phoenix got the target in 15.5 overs thanks to brilliant knocks by Asif 71, Subayyal 53 and Adeel 38.
