Guests of Allah: We are all at your service
Published in The Saudi Gazette on 27 - 07 - 2019

Allah the Almighty honored this blessed country with the service to the Two Holy Mosques, Haj pilgrims and Umrah performers. Everyone who contemplates Makkah, Madinah and the Holy Sites and the projects they witness every year and the works and accomplishments achieved, will realize the care and attention paid to the Two Holy Mosques and the Holy Sites by our noble leadership, may Allah SWT protect them.
Such attention stems from the feeling of Islamic responsibility of our leadership and its pioneering role in serving Islam and Muslims. We have now bid farewell to those who have come for Umrah and who were able to perform their duties with ease and comfort by the grace of Allah SWT and we convey our thanks to the government of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, for the services and projects provided.
We are now receiving Haj pilgrims, who will surely benefit from our hospitality, care and attention. We are in full readiness to work for the success of the current Haj season, to be added to the successes of past years.
In continuation of these efforts, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman Bin Abdulaziz, may Allah SWT protect him, inaugurated at the end of last Ramadan the program called "Service to the Guests of Allah," one of the most important executive programs of the Kingdom's Vision 2030, which reflects the ultimate attention he pays to Islam and Muslims.
Through this program, the Kingdom aims to facilitate the arrival of pilgrims at the Two Holy Mosques and at all the stages of their journey starting from their intention and determination in their countries to perform Haj to their arrival in this Holy Land, and their safe return home.
This has been made possible through the development of the most modern facilities and technology and the provision of quality services that the guests of Allah SWT deserve at all levels of various fields. Their experience is enriched by the preparation of archaeological and cultural sites that abound in our country, to allow the guests of Allah SWT to enjoy a spiritual, religious and cultural experience which is full of faith, derived from the ancient history of this country. Today, while we welcome the pilgrims who are arriving in the Kingdom, we have confidence that they will find the mega projects that have been completed, a means of helping them achieve their goals easily and in comfort so that they can spend their time at the Two Holy Mosques and the Holy Sites in an atmosphere of blessings, love and tranquility.
I now take this opportunity to invite all employees of the Ministry Haj and Umrah and the agencies within its domain to double their efforts in developing plans, programs and services to achieve further goals and to deepen their conviction that there is always room for more accomplishments and excellence. Ambitious determination and resolve always help attain greater levels of achievement. This requires us to work with all the power that we have to provide more comfort and assurance for the guests of Allah SWT.
Finally, I ask Allah SWT to grant us success and to bless this country as it undertakes its responsibility toward the guests of Allah SWT and to make this year's Haj a resounding success like previous seasons and to maintain the security and safety of this country and protect its leaders and rulers.
Dr. Mohammed Salih Bin Taher Bentin is the Minister of Haj and Umrah
