Give best services to pilgrims, Prince Faisal asks authorities

MADINAH – Emir of Madinah Province and Chairman of the Haj Committee in Madinah Prince Faisal Bin Salman on Sunday directed all the relevant authorities to provide the best services to the Guests of Allah and visitors to the Prophet's Mosque to enable them to carry out their acts of worship and perform their rites with ease, comfort and tranquility.
The directives came during Prince Faisal's inspection of the Haj Terminal Complex and "Makkah Route Initiative" Terminal at Prince Muhammad Bin Abdulaziz International Airport here, Saudi Press Agency reported.
This was in the presence of Minister of Haj and Umrah Dr. Muhammad Bin Saleh Benten; President of the General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA) Abdulhadi Al-Mansouri; Undersecretary of the Ministry of Haj and Umrah for Ziyarah Affairs Muhammad Al-Bijawi; and Director of Passports in Madinah Province Brig. Gen. Badr Bin Maayouf Al-Mutairi, among others.
During the inspection tour that covered the locations for government authorities providing services, including completing procedures for receiving pilgrims and providing them with all other required services, Prince Faisal asserted that all the human and material potentials provided by the government of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman to serve pilgrims emanate from the standpoint of its duty, religious obligation and the honor to serve the visitors to the Two Holy Mosques.
The "Makkah Route Initiative" experiment has proved to be positive and it is being expanded gradually. The initiative's success can be gauged by the impressions of the pilgrims from the benefiting countries, the emir said.
During his tour of the "Makkah Route Initiative" Terminal, Prince Faisal checked the preparations and services being provided to pilgrims arriving by air to ensure that all preparations were in place. He was also briefed on the services the terminal provides to pilgrims so as to facilitate them perform their rituals and completion of entry procedures from the point of origin.
The emir also received a group of pilgrims from Indonesia. He welcomed them and wished them a good stay in the land of the Two Holy Mosques.
