Iran said on Thursday that "active resistance' was an antidote to US President Donald Trump's warning over Tehran's commitments to the 2015 nuclear deal, state TV reported. "By exiting the nuclear deal, Trump has wounded the path of diplomacy ... the best antidote to all threats is active resistance," said spokesman of Iran's Supreme National Security Council Keyvan Khosravi. "Iran is determined to go ahead with its plan to further scale back its nuclear commitments under the deal." On Wednesday, US President Donald Trump warned Iran its threats could "come back to bite" after Tehran vowed to exceed the maximum uranium enrichment level allowed by a landmark 2015 nuclear accord. "Iran has just issued a New Warning. Rouhani says that they will Enrich Uranium to 'any amount we want' if there is no new Nuclear Deal," Trump tweeted, referring to Iran's President Hassan Rouhani. "Be careful with the threats, Iran. They can come back to bite you like nobody has been bitten before!"
