Published in The Saudi Gazette on 29 - 06 - 2019

Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd., has announced the pre-order of its brand-new Galaxy A80 smartphone in Saudi Arabia – a smartphone designed and created for the way people are engaging in the Era of Live. The all-new Galaxy A80 features unique designs and state-of-the-art technologies to grant users authentic connections using the latest innovations. Samsung's newest smartphone offers a full-screen display and an intelligent battery. The Galaxy A80 is the Korean giant's first smartphone that uses a revolutionary rotating camera.
Customers in Saudi Arabia can pre-order Samsung's all-new Galaxy A80 starting June 27 until July 10 2019 through the company's different authorized dealers or on their website www.samsung.com.
Y.J. Kim, President of Samsung Electronics in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia said: "We are happy to launch the new Galaxy A80 for our customers in the Kingdom. We are keen to provide them with a variety of features and options that cater to their demands and daily needs. It is part of our ethos to continue to develop our innovations in this digital era and provide original products that can enhance their lifestyle using the latest technologies."
The Galaxy A80 features Samsung's first rotating camera and allows users to seamlessly capture the world around them. The main camera is designed with a 48MP lens and a F/2.0 aperture, to allow users to shoot vivid images day and night. The smartphone's 3D depth cameras allow for live focus of videos by scanning objects and their dimension for measurement and depth. Once users select the selfie mode in the camera app, the three cameras automatically pop-up from the back of the phone and rotate. The camera mechanism delivers the same extraordinary triple camera experience with the same high-resolution lens, front and rear, so users never have to sacrifice on quality. And with other intelligent camera features such as Scene Optimizer that can recognize and enhance up to 30 scenes, and Flaw Detection that automatically identifies glitches before you click, you'll never miss the perfect shot.
Users can experience a picture-perfect view with Samsung's first New Infinity Display, featuring the 6.7-inch FHD+ (1080×2400) Super AMOLED screen. The Galaxy A80 brings forth visual content in vivid detail for a full immersive experience in every game, video, photo and story.
They can now stay connected with the Galaxy A80's 3,700mAh battery and its Super-Fast Charging at 25W capabilities. This can grant more freedom by allowing a faster charging rate so users wouldn't miss a beat. It features an intelligent battery that learns and adapts to the daily routine and app usage patterns to optimize the phone's power consumption. The Adaptive Power Saving Mode enables users to be reassured knowing the smart battery is running most efficiently for the best performance needed.
