Sultan Al-Sughayer Saudi Gazette JUBAIL — The fifth stage of the National Scout project to clean and protect the environment that is organized by the Saudi Arabian Scouts Association and hosted by the Royal Commission for Jubail will wrap up on Saturday in a ceremony held in honor of Prince Faisal Bin Abdullah, Minister of Education and Chairman of Saudi Arabian Scouts Association. "We will continue to utilize the large facilities provided by the Royal Commission so the project's vision can be realized and we also hope to instill environmental awareness in society,” said camp commander, Saeed Al-Kaltham, Regional director of the World Organization of the Scout Movement for the Arab region, Atef Abdul Majeed, said the national Scout project to clean and protect the environment is a model to be emulated. “The Arab Scouts organization boasts such initiatives that highlight ethical conduct,” he said. The Saudi Arabian Scout Association will participate in the Arab Scout Conference which will be held in Algeria on May 24-30.
