Published in The Saudi Gazette on 07 - 06 - 2019

JEDDAH — At least five musical concerts are expected to steal the show at ‘Jeddah Season' festival over the coming days. Al-Jawhara stadium of King Abdullah Sports City will host the concerts, which will kick off with the performance of the renowned Emirati singer Ahlam Al-Shamsi, dubbed as "The Queen," and conclude with the concert of Kadim Al-Saher, dubbed as "Caesar of Arabic Song."
The first concert, featuring Ahlam on Saturday (June 8), will be her third performance in the Kingdom during this season after staging two concerts in Riyadh.
The fans of renowned Saudi singer Mohammed Abdo are all geared up to throng the same venue the next day Sunday. Jeddawis are looking forward to listening to the old and new hit songs of their Abu Noura.
On June 10, famous Egyptian singer Amr Diab will try to captivate once again the fans with his melodious voice after his impressive performance in the last spring season in the city. Well-known Saudi singer Rashid Al-Majed will enthrall his fans on July 4 at Al-Jawhara. He made an impressive performance at the same venue during the last Eid season in Jeddah besides performing in several events in various regions of the Kingdom, the last of which was in the Eastern Province in March this year.
The most awaited performance of Kazim Al-Saher is on July 12. The fans are excited to witness his mesmerizing performance under the title "The Arab Nights." In April, he held musical shows in Riyadh, Jeddah and Dammam. Kazim, who is also a music composer and songwriter, is one of the most successful Arab singers. His first performance in the Kingdom was at the Souk Okaz last year. The Jeddah Season festival will run through 40 days till July 18.
