Saudis and expats residing in the Kingdom have been asked by the Supreme Court to sight the crescent of the month of Shawwal on Monday (Ramadan 29 corresponding to June 3) for Eid Al-Fitr. Whoever sights the crescent by naked eyes or through binoculars should report to the nearest court and register their testimony, the Supreme Court said. If the moon is not sighted, then Tuesday will mark a regular fasting day and Eid will be celebrated on Wednesday. Ramadan this year began on May 6. — SG
