It will be the first time that Harlem Shake has been played live on stage by its creator in the Middle East. Baauer's Harlem Shake was first launched in May 2012 and went viral around the world in February 2013 when a YouTube video of the Harlem Shake dance was created and gained over 300,000 views in 24 hours. The 30-second video featured people dancing to the song and was imitated more than 12,000 times in other user-submitted videos across the world. From individuals, companies, and brands, thousands of videos and millions of views have been recorded of the Harlem Shake videos. When the YouTube video developed with the same name “Harlem Shake”, Baauer's track reached number one on the US Billboard Hot 100, New Zealand and Australia, and number three in the UK. Influenced heavily by southern hip-hop and UK bass sounds, Baauer has found himself in the heart of an electronic musical renaissance. Baauer is an American producer who has been making house and electro dance music from the age of 13.
