The Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) announced its participation in the Financial Sector Conference (FSC) to be held in Riyadh on April 24-25, 2019 under the auspices of the Financial Sector Development Program (FSDP). Ms. Sarah Al-Suhaimi, Tadawul›s Chairperson, will participate in a panel discussion on "Moving Saudi Markets to the Next Level: A Matter of Trust" and Eng. Khalid Al Hussan will participate in a panel discussion on "Optimizing the Kingdom's Capital Market Potential through Infrastructure Development & Product Diversification." Tadawul participation will include several activities at the accompanying FSC Exhibition, where it will conduct workshops for the public on «Invest Wisely» program that will introduce the basics of investments and financial instruments available in the Saudi capital market. In addition, a Trading Simulator will be available to visitors to provide them with the opportunity to test their knowledge and to apply what they have learned in the workshops and giving them a real life experience of trading on the stock market. As the largest equity market in the Middle East, Tadawul is playing a vital role in development of an advanced capital market, a key pillar of the FSDP. Over the past two years, Tadawul, in conjunction with Capital Market Authority, has implemented numerous measures to enhance the effectiveness of the Saudi capital market, foster an attractive investment environment for local and international investors and align its regulatory frameworks with global best practices. — SG
