RIYADH — Unbeaten VIP Holidays triumphed over Falcons to win Huraymala League of SAIB T20. This tournament was organized by Riyadh Cricket Association (RCA) and sponsored by Saudi Arabian Investment Bank. In the grand finale, VIP Holidays defeated Falcons by 94 runs. VIP Holidays won the toss and elected to bat first. Shams Uz Zaman continued his supreme form from the semifinal and smashed an unbeaten 115. Mudassir (38) and Irfan (29) took VIP's total to 209 for 3. Haider, Faisal and Farhan took a wicket each. In reply, Falcons batting couldn't stand the final test and was bowled out for just 115. Farrukh top scored with 43 and Ateeq made 19. Imran bagged 3 wickets and Saeed 2. Shams Uz Zaman was chosen as the Man of the Match. In the semifinals, Falcons won against Success by 4 wickets. Success tallied 184-7. Shabaiz scored 46, while Ghulam and Hameed made 41 and 39, respectively. Farhan grabbed 3 wickets and Sirajuddin 2. Falcons lost wickets early but Adnan Ayub's classy 70 took Falcons to victory in 19.4 overs. Haider (25) and Farhan (19) were the other notable contributors. Ghulam and Gohar sealed 2 wickets each. Adnan was adjudged the Man of the Match. In the second semifinal, VIP Holidays cruised to victory over Riyadh Warriors Blue by 44 runs. VIP Holidays posted 205 for 2. Shams Uz Zaman whacked 93 and Talseen notched 39 and Mudassir Shah was caught for 38. Warriors were restricted to 161 in reply. Syed Mubashir top scored with 34 and Raheem made 28.
