Almajdouie takes part in reducing traffic accidents

ALMAJDOUIE Motors Company, the authorized distributor for Changan cars in Saudi Arabia, announced its participation and sponsorship of the 3-day "Traffic Safety Conference 2019" organized by the General Directorate of traffic at the Ritz Carlton Hotel in Riyadh last month. The conference was held under the patronage of the Minister of Interior Prince Abdulaziz Bin Saud Bin Naif Bin Abdulaziz, and inaugurated by the Deputy of Minister of Interior Dr. Nasser Bin Abdulaziz Aldawood. The Conference was attended various government agencies and the private sector, along with a group of experts and international researchers in traffic safety from inside and outside Saudi Arabia.
The Conference discussed current trends in traffic safety researches and future opportunities for improving road safety, as well as international experiences in road safety, and reviewed international experiences in this field. It also discussed ways of cooperation between the various departments involved in traffic administration and management, transport, behavior of local drivers and models of traffic accidents in Riyadh at a strategic level.
Almajdouie – Changan's participation in the Conference came in view of the keenness of the company to be part of this big meeting; to be learn about the latest developments in international protection of road users, whether users of cars or pedestrians, as well as to learn about the Government's efforts to raise the level of road safety, and take advantage of advanced technologies in the implementation of the traffic system. Their participation in the Conference, as well, comes within Almajdouie-Changan strategy to be acquainted with the latest methods to widespread traffic awareness in society to contribute to the reduction of road accidents, because of its positive impact on the nation and its citizens.
Mohamed Bin Ali Almajdouie, CEO of Almajdouie – Changan, said: "No doubt that traffic accidents have large negative consequences for the individual and society. We think it is our responsibility to take part in reducing these accidents."
He added: "The traffic awareness in society contributes to reducing road accidents which reflected positively on the homeland and the citizen and thereby bringing the Kingdom to be among the first countries which enjoy high levels of traffic safety and safe driving, and this contributes to the realization of the Kingdom's 2030 Vision, which we all work have to accomplish."
In recognition of the continuing and effective efforts of Almajdouie Motors – Changan in traffic safety awareness and the enhancement of the society's knowledge, instructions and traffic systems, the General Manager of the General Directorate of Traffic, Major General Mohammed Al Bassami honored Almajdouie Motors Company and granted them an honorary shield. The Shield was received by Mohammed Almajdouie, CEO of Almajdouie Motors - Changan, in turn thanks the Ministry of Interior, represented by the General Directorate of Traffic for their tireless efforts to reduce traffic accidents.
