CH XI clinches one-run win over Bonny

JEDDAH — CH XI scored a thrilling one-run win over Bonny, while Pepsi Deccan Knights, Hyderabad Sharks and Jeddah Zalmi got past their opponents with convincing wins in the 9th week matches of Bonny Super League T20, sponsored by Bonny and organized by Jeddah Cricket Association (JCA).
Fine all-round performances from Nasir Bajwa (65 and 4 for 32), Farooq (59 and 2 for 40), Syed Arif Hashmy (21 and 2 for 36) and Attaur Rehman (4 for 37) were the other highlights of
The week.
Nasir Bajwa's all-round display (65 and 4 for 32) and Hafiz Rizwan's 64 enabled CH XI score an incredible win by 1 run over sponsors team Bonny despite valiant knocks from Shad Khan (58) and Syed Shah (43).
Consistent batting performance by Kashif (40) and Farooq's all-round display (59 and 2 for 40) gave Pepsi Deccan Knights a 37-run win over Thales.
Skipper Arif Hashmy's all-round display (21 and 2 for 36) and Saddam's 49 enabled Hyderabad Sharks score a 40-run win over Ace Travel despite fine efforts by Mozzam (57) and Aftab (3 for 35).
A quick-fire knock by Amir (53) with support from Raza (38) and Gowher (46) enabled Jeddah Zalmi score a 20-run over Malik XI, despite Shani's 67.
