ARM, CH XI, Butt Sports win in Ace Travel cricket

JEDDAH — Ace Travels Saudi Cup T20 kicked off on a high note with wins for ARM United over Islamabad United, CH XI over Chinar CC, Al-Burj over Royal Jurana and Butt Sports over KAIA, coupled with excellent individual performances by Moeed (6 for 8 with a hat trick), Nazeer (92), Zaid (78 not out), Atta (83), Hasnath (48 runs and 4 for 22) during the 1st week matches of the event sponsored by Ace Travel and organized by Jeddah Cricket Association (JCA).
An inspired spell of 6 for 8 by Moeed, including a hat trick and Nazeer's aggressive knock of 92 off 51 balls (4x7, 6x4) enabled ARM United win by 70 runs against Islambad United.
Zaid's (78) awesome display and Faisal's spell of 4 for 17 gave CH XI a 6-wicket win over Chinar CC.
Atta Muskan's explosive 83 (39 balls, 4x11, 6x4) coupled with good bowling in tandem by Amir (4 for 37), Khalid (2 for 10) and Haider (2 for 16) enabled Al-Burj score a 51-run win over Royal Jurana despite equally good bowling by Irfan (4 for 38) and a good knock by Asad (61 not out).
Butt Sports scored 233, thanks to Samar (57) and great all-round display by Hasnath (48 runs and 4 for 22) to win by 85 runs against KAIA.

ARM United beat Islamabad United by 70 runs. ARM United 176-5 in 18 overs (Nazeer 92, Shani 28, Farhan 2 for 33). Islamabad United 106 (Gowher 53, Moeed 6 for 8 including a hat trick).
CH XI beat Chinar CC by 6 wickets. Chinar CC 124 (Naseer 34, Abdul Rehman 36, Faisal 4 for 17, Nasir 3 for 23). CH XI 127-4 in 14.3 overs (Zaid 78 not out, Muzaffar 2 for 25).
Al-Burj beat Royal Jurana by 51 runs. Al-Burj 221-7 in 20 overs (Atta 83, Fahad 30, Irfan 4 for 38, Waseem 2 for 33). Royal Jurana 170 (Asad 61 not out, Amir 4 for 37, Khalid 2 for 10, Haider 2 for 16).
Butt Sports beat KAIA by 85 runs. Butt Sports 233-9 in 18 overs (Samar 57, Hasnath 48, Ali Raza 4 for 48, Adnan 2 for 35). KAIA 148 (Adnan 27, Ali 21, Hasnath 4 for 22, Yasir 3 for 48).
