RCA clinches Mobily-SCC T-20 Trophy

JEDDAH — Riyadh Cricket League (RCA) clinched the first Mobily SCC T-20 Champions Trophy 2019 on the basis of better net run rate (NNR) of 2.1637. Eastern Province Cricket Association (EPCA) cliamed the runner-up position with a NRR 1.6112. Whereas Western Cricket Association (WPCA) came third with NRR 0.0653.
The tournament was sponsored by Mobily Telecom Company Saudi Arabia and organized by Saudi Cricket Centre (SCC). In the final week at RCA grounds Riyadh, RCA, EPCA, WPCA, JCA, YACA and ACL have been fighting for title. Finally, Dada Eleven RCA was crowned champion.
The journey that started from the holy city of Madinah ended with the final match at the home ground (RCA 6) with a must-win game against WPCA Jeddah, said Nadeem Babar skipper of RCA after the match. The match proved to be a nail-biting encounter with pendulum shifting almost in every over. Largest crowd ever witnessed at RCA Grounds for decades enjoyed every single moment of this match. "Thank God, RCA emerged victorious under my captaincy," Babar added. He congratulated EPCA captain Farhat Mahmood and WPCA captain Shoaib Ali. He also congratulated SCC CEO Nadeem Nadwi for organizing such a wonderful Tournament.
