The Eastern Province Cricket Association (EPCA) Tournament, played under the banner of 40-40 Main League and sponsored by Al-Turki saw batsmen dominate in week 5.
Premier Division
Intelligent Honda CC outplayed SB Dilnawaz CC by 8 wickets. SBDCC managed 77 in 21 overs, as Imran Arif took 5 wickets and Noman Khan 4. IHCC chased the target in 7.3 overs with Imran Arif scoring 45 off 17 balls.
AAC CC defeated Pak Saudi CC by 85 runs. AAC posted 302 in 40 overs. Obaid Ali scored 114 off 78 balls and Imran Ali 62 off 45. Imran, Nasir and Shafiq claimed 2 wickets each. PSCC was restricted to 217 in 34 overs. Ali Cheema made 83 and Asif 52. Obaid Ali took 4 wickets.
Khobar Gymkhana Karachi Strikers CC beat Marooj Stars CC by 7 wickets. MSCC tallied 157 in 30 overs. Shahid Aziz took 4 wickets and Jamal 3. KGKSCC chased the target in 17.4 overs. Rizwan scored 60 off 53.
Fireox Unit CC beat DHL Express CC by 37 runs. FUCC tallied 275-9. Hammad made 124 off 107 and Naveed 50. Imran Talib and Ahmed Ali grabbed 3 wickets each. DHLECC made 238-9. Umair, Yasir, Naveed and Waqas claimed 2 wickets each.
